A fire broke out in a tea house of U Mya Khaing and Daw Mya Mya in Yangon Region on 5:39 am according to the initial report of Fire Services Department.
The tea house is located at the top floor of a high-rise building in Sanchaung Township on Baho and Pantanaw road. The fire flared up when the gas stove was switched on.
Altogether 170 firefighters led by the director of the Fire Services Department rushed to the scene and put out the fire. The fire left an unidentified one man and two women dead, according to U Myint Tun, head of Linlun Ward.
Officials are undertaking to identify the dead bodies which were taken to the Yangon Hospital, according to the regional Fire Services Department.
