A plane carrying humanitarian aid com­prising medicines and breathing appa­ratuses from China landed at Yangon International Airport yesterday morning.

 

Officials of the Yangon Region Disas­ter Management Department accepted the aid. These humanitarian aids were trans­ported to Nay Pyi Taw by car under the supervision of Yangon Region government.

 

Likewise, another plane carrying tent, personal goods, tarpaulin sheets, medi­cines and instant foods weighing 31,301 kilogrammes from Pakistan in the second batch arrived at Yangon International Air­port yesterday morning.

 

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Pakistani Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Imran Haider and officials coordinated necessary measures before sending these supplies to Nay Pyi Taw. — MNA/TTA
