A ceremony to publicize children rights law was organized at the meeting hall of Khin-U Township General Administraton Department in the town of Khin-U, Shwebo district, Sagaing region yesterday morning.
First, the townwhip Management Committee Chairman U Thein Zaw Made a speech.Then, Daw San San Nwe, head of the district Social Welfare Department expounded the aims of the new children rights law and the povisions of the law contained in section 121. Afterwards, the township law officer Daw Sanda Win explained offences and punishments contained in the law.
