THE Information Technology Pro­fessionals Examination Council (IT­PEC) exams, recognized by seven countries, were held simultaneous­ly on 27 April in Yangon Region, Mandalay Region, Magway Region and Kayin State.

 

These exams were organized by the Myanmar Computer Profes­sionals Association under the lead­ership of the Myanmar Computer Federation to promote development in information and communication technology.

 

A total of 370 candidates sat for the Information Technology Pass­port Examination (IT Passport), while 763 candidates took part in the Fundamental Information Technol­ogy Engineer Examination (FE).

 

ITPEC exams are held twice a year, and the October 2024 session saw 733 individuals pass nation­wide. These exams are recognized by Japan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, Mongolia and Bangla­desh. — Myo Min Thura/KZL
