The final match of Taninthayi Regional Chief Minister Cup U-25 men and women’s table tennis championship took place in conjunction with a prize awarding ceremony at a table tennis court in Kawthoung yesterday evening.
The teams representing Dawei, Myeik and Kawthoung Districts participated in the contest. In the final game of men’s competition, the team representing Dawei District beat the squad representing Myeik District. Prize presentation ceremony followed.
Director of the Sports and Physical Education Department U Soe Moe Naing and concerned officials presented champion trophies, cash and individual awards to prize winning teams and athletes.—Kyaw Soe (Kawthoung)
