The final match of township education officer’s cup inter-school girl’s football tourney was held at Myoma sports ground in Kyunsu Township, Taninthayi Region on 19 August.
In the final game, the team representing Thazin beat the squad representing Kyunsu Township 4-0. After the final match, the prize awarding ceremony followed. Township Education Officer Daw Mya Win presented trophy and awards to prize winning teams and players.
The event was held from 15 to 19 August under the township sport development programme with six participating teams.—Sithuya Aung (Kyunsu)
