Land use certificate-7 provided in Shwekyin

A ceremony to provide land use certificate-7 and disburse bank loans to farmers in Shwekyin was held at the city hall of Shwekyin, Bago Region this morning.

 

At the ceremony, Bago Region Chief Minister U Win Thein said that arrangements are being made to hand over the confiscated farmlands to owners, to implement the upgrading farmlands, to furnish systematic agricultural techniques and to issue land use certificate-7.

 

Afterwards, the chief minister, regional minister for security and border affairs Col Hla Myo Shwe, minister for Kayin Ethnic Affairs Daw Naw Pwal Say, MPs and departmental personnel gave land use certificate-7 to 238 farmers in Padakwe village-tract and disbursed agricultural loans to 4,900 farmers with land use certificate-7 at the rate of K 100,000 per acre. Furthermore, 27 households from KNLA (Kunphe Region Peace Group) were also furnished bags of rice and cooking oil.

 

A total of 17,517 acres of farmland have been issued land use certificate-7 and arrangements are being made to issue land use certificate-7 to the remaining farmers.

 

The Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank (Branch) in Shwekyin has disbursed over K 4,000 million to 4,701 farmers at a rate of 150,000 per acre in 2018.

 

Present on the occasion were chief minister, ministers, MPs, departmental personnel and local farmers.
