Doctors and medicinal experts from abroad have been conducting a liver and kidney transplant for children at Yangon Children’s Hospital since 2018.
The doctors of Yangon Children’s Hospital transplanted kidney to two children with their counterparts of National University from Singapore on February and transplanted live to one child with their counterparts of National University from Japan on March.
The Ministry of Health and Sports in collaboration with Singapore, Japan and Australia supports Yangon Children’s Hospital in the transplant of kidney, liver, cleft lips and palate.
The 550-bed Yangon Children’s Hospital was engaged in the treatment of cancer, brain and nervous system diseases, intestinal diseases, child diseases, gastroenteritis, child kidney and liver transplant and others. –Than Htike (Yangon)
