The Department of Rural Development in Wuntho Township, Sagaing Region disbursed loans of Emerald Green Projects to local people at the monastery in Zeebyugone village yesterday.

An official from the department discussed about the conditions of the businesses with local people. Afterwards, officials from the Agricultural Department and the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department shared knowledge on seasonal epidemics, agricultural and farming awareness to local residents.

Over K 50 million of loans of the project were disbursed to 91 farmers by the officials. In addition, three farmers who work well in their business with loans of the project were awarded by the officials.
