A mass garbage collection campaign was carried out in Einme Township, Ayeyawady Region yesterday morning.

The activity started from Ward-14 to Ward-12 in Einme with the participation of the township-level authorities, medical staff, policemen, firefighters and members of a local social organization. Participants cut the bushes, collected trash and torched them and cleared blocked drainage systems for a better and more efficient flow of water.

Township Administrator U Hla Min Thu, Executive Officer of the township development affairs committee U Tin Aung Moe and concerned officials were also involved in the mass beautification activity.— IPRD
