A coordination meeting between departments under Kachin state Social Affairs Ministry took place at the meeting room of the state government in the town of Myikyina, Kachin state yesterday. In the coordination meeting, Kachin state Social Affairs Minister U Nay Win made an openeing speech about preventative measures against the virus.
Then, the head of Kachin Public Health Department reported on measures being taken to prevent coronavirus in the state, directives on prevention of the virus by ministry of health and sports. Afterwards, officials from departments, universities, colleges and institutes made presentations about measures being taken to prevent the virus.
The meeting focused on prevention and control of COVID-19, calling for the participation of the public in preventative measures.—Myo Myint Soe (IPRD)
