MYANMAR Garment Manu­facturers Association (MGMA) has been optimizing the distri­bution of emergency supplies and relief goods by prioritizing the worst-affected regions by implementing pilot projects.

MGMA arranges emer­gency supplies for the worst-hit areas, Mandalay, Sagaing, Am­arapura, Inwa, Kyaukse, Nay Pyi Taw, Pyinmana and Inlay areas.

They contribute to the in­stallation of solar water pumps, temporary shelters for monks and nuns, rescue stations, con­struction materials for govern­ment institutions, Helping Hands package, cash donations towards shelters and temporary houses through institutions.

The association collabo­rates with township and village organizations to ensure effective assistance.

MGMA requested member companies, factories and affili­ated associations on 31 March to donate to the quake-hit areas through Account 0021 0112 0002 0995 (A Bank Special Saving).
