Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Nai Thet Lwin received Chairman of Myanmar-China Economic Cooperation Development Promotion Association Mr Li Faun and party at his office here this morning.

During the meeting, they discussed matters on development of socio-economic status of national races, cooperation between the Myanmar Ethnic Affairs Ministry and the NEAC of the PRC, holding of ethnic festival for community-based tourism development in ethnic regions and cooperation in ethnic affairs of the two countries.

After the meeting the visiting Chinese delegation had a documentary photo taken before viewing round booths showcasing traditional costumes and utensils on display there.—MNA
