STATE Administration Council Member, Deputy Prime Minister, Union Minister for Defence Gen­eral Maung Maung Aye, attended the stationery handover ceremo­ny for students of the 2025-2026 academic year yesterday.

 

The event was attended by the officials of the ministry, stu­dents and parents who are the staff of the ministry.

 

Speaking at the event, the Union minister highlighted the school enrolment week that begins on 22 May for 2025-2026 academic year, provision of sta­tionery, text books and school uniforms by the government for the students, free admission ac­tivities, and the need to follow the school rules, to be healthy and to study well.

 

He also urged the parents and teachers to guide the chil­dren to be smart people with five essential skills and to be reliable ones for the country. He present­ed the stationery to the children of the staff. — MNA/KTZH
