Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun attended the Group A round-robin match between the football teams of the Ministry of Electric Power and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation at the Shwekyabin Football Ground in Zabuthiri Township yesterday, as part of the Inter-Ministerial Open Football Tournament in the Fifth National Sports Festival 2024.
The competition was attended by Union Minister U Nyan Tun and his wife, Deputy Minister U Aye Kyaw and his wife, officials from the Union Minister’s Office, departmental heads, representatives from enterprises, and their families, as well as staff members from the Ministry of Electric Power, their families, and sports enthusiasts.
In Group A, the Ministry of Electric Power faced the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation. The remaining group matches are scheduled as follows: the Ministry of Electric Power will play against the Ministry of Information on 4 December, the Ministry of Electric Power will face the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs on 7 December, and the Ministry of Electric Power will compete with the Ministry of Energy on 10 December. — MNA/MKKS
