THE Myanma Railway (MR) called for interested businesses to submit a tender for railway upgrading work on the Yan­gon-Mandalay line.

 

Under an opening tender 93/ MaMa/CE, the Yangon-Manda­lay upgrade project includes the Bago-Nyaunglebin rail section (crossing Phayagyi, Pyinpongyi, Kadoat, Phaungtawthi, Eain­chaylayzal, DaikU, Pyuntazar to Nyaunglebin) and eight semi-de­tached civil service housings with RC structure, brick walling, concrete floor and utility (water, electricity and sanitary facilities).

 

The opening tenders 94/ MaMa/CE, 95/MaMa/CE, and 96/ MaMa/CE are chain link fencing projects (Lots 1, 2, and 3 with 25,000 feet each Lot), Nyaun­glebin-Taungoo rail section.

 

The opening tender 97/ MaMa/CE is for two semi-de­tached civil servant houses on a 44-foot by 32-footMR Seeks Yangon–Mandalay Rail Upgrade Deal area and eight rooms for gatekeepers on an 88-foot by 32- foot area with utility facilities.

 

The tender form can be purchased at the MR office lo­cated at the corner of Merchant Road and 51st Street, Botahtaung Township, Yangon, starting from 2 June.
