UNION Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Soe Win, who is also the Second Vice-Chair of the National Disaster Management Committee, inspected the arrival of 108 modular (prefabricated) offices from Thilawa Port to Ywataw railway station yesterday.
The Union minister checked the condition of modular (prefabricated) offices being systematically loaded onto trucks using cranes and distribution processes to the relevant ministerial offices.
Union Minister Dr Soe Win also inspected the placement of container boxes, which include furniture and equipment to be used in the temporary office rooms transported by 16 trucks from the Thilawa Port, at the Taboung ground in front of the Uppatasanti Pagoda.
Among these items, 25 modular (prefabricated) offices were distributed to the Union Supreme Court, five to the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union, 30 to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and 44 to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation. — MNA/KTZH
