Wundwin 5 February
A new bridge named Magalulin Thinbonechaung Bridge on the Pulawa-Nyaungkan rural road in Wundwin Township, Meiktila District, Mandalay Region was inaugurated this morning.
“The new facility brings about safety and convenience for students who are going to Pintalae and Taesu BEHSs and local residents. The bridge used to experience flooding in the raining season, prompting Sayadaw Wannitica and locals to construct the 160 ft long, 13 ft wide and 9 ft high reinforced concrete bridge on 12 March 2018. The construction was completed on 9 September” said U Maung San, the member of bridge construction committee.
The new facility will contribute to public safety and socioeconomic development of villages between west of Wundwin Township and east of Mahlaing Township.
