The opening ceremony of new earth road was held in Thapayarkhon village, Kyauktaga Township, Bago Region yesterday morning.

At the event, Vice-Speaker of Bago Region Hluttaw U Kyi Zin, Head of Kyauktaga Township Rural Development Department U Tin Maung Win opened the new road cutting a ribbon.

The road is 4,990 feet long, 16 feet wide and was built at a cost of K 17.3 million. At the ceremony the officials observed the road. – Khin Ko (Kyauktaga)
