A ceremony to open a new two-storey school building was held in Le-O village, Pauk Township, Magway Region on 26 January morning.
At the event, Magway Region Chief Minister Dr Aung Moe Nyo, Assistant Deputy Commissioner U Zaw Lwin of Pakokku District, MP U Yee Tun Win of Pyithu Hluttaw, MPs Daw Myint San and U Aung Than of Region Hluttaw cut a ribbon to open the school building and viewed round it.
At the event, the chief minister urged the students to study hard to become valuable persons for the future of the country.
The new school building is 132 feet long, 30 feet wide and 23ft and 6 inches high. It was built at a cost of K 215 million of self-development funds of the village. –Township (IPRD)
