Newly extended facility in Ngazun public hospital opens

A ceremony to open an extended two-storey building was held in the compound of a public hospital in Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region on Sunday.

 

The extended facility was formally opened by Chief Minister of Mandalay Region Dr. Zaw Myint Maung, Regional Minister for Security and Border Affairs Col Kyaw Kyaw Min, Regional Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr. Soe Than, Regional Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Myo Thit, Regional lawmakers Daw The Su Wai and U Kyaw Soe Naing by cutting a ceremonial ribbon.

 

Next, a speech by the regional chief minister followed. On behalf of the local people, U Myint Wai, a resident spoke words of thanks. The ceremony was also attended by Speaker of Mandalay Regional parliament U Aung Kyaw Oo, regional legislators, departmental officials, local authorities and residents.

 

The 150 ft. long, 56 ft. high healthcare structure was built by Bright Star Wave Company Limited with Ks. 426.42 million funds allotted by the Department of Veterinary Science under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation.—Thet Naung Oo
