While a Taiwanese was at his home in Has/Kha Ward, Thingangyun Township, Yangon Region after arriving back from Yangon International Airport at 10.50 pm on 29 December 2018, Thant Zin Oo and his accomplice visited the Taiwanese and had a chat with the former. When the foreigner asked the two Myanmar young men to leave as he was going to go outside, Thant Zin Oo, one of the two was briefly holding him behind to enable his accomplice to tie up the former with wires and gagged before launching a physical attack.

The two robbers made away with K two million, a Huawei hand phone and the key to the front door but were arrested on 31 evening.

Action is being taken against the two according to law by Thingangyun Myoma Police Station.—MDN
