Officials inspect completion of concrete water tank in Matman Twsp.

Officials inspect the completion of water supply project in Yaungbuwa Village in Matman Township, the Wa Self-Administered Division of northern Shan State this morning.

The concrete water tank which is 15 ft. in length, 10 ft. in wide and 6 ft. in height was constructed by the Township DRD engineers with K 7 million of the Union Budget. Now, the construction work of the water tanker, capable of storing 5000 gallons, was completed 100%.  During the inspection tour, officials met with the village elders and gave necessary instructions.

Now, about 288 people from 38 households will be available drinking water in all seasons, according to an official from the District Department of Rural Development.—Maung Khaing (DRD)
