The opening ceremony of expo and selling as part of Myanmar-Thailand friendship and 67th Anniversary Kayah New Year Day was held at Pwetaw hall in Kayah State at 5 pm yesterday with an introductory speech by Minister of Planning and Finance U Maw Maw.
Kayah State Hluttaw Speaker and wife, the cabinet members, the Advocate-General, Pyithu Hluttaw representative Dr. Daw Khin Si Thu, Assistant Commissioner of Mae Hong Son and members, entrepreneurs and invited guests attended the ceremony jointly organized by Mae Hong Son District and Kayah State.
Afterwards, the ceremony followed in which the head of Mae Hong Song District Development Department and Assistant Commissioner of Mae Hong Son Mr. Sakorn Rungrang gave greeting speeches.
Speaker of Kayah state Hluttaw U Hla Htwe and Mr. Sakorn Rungrang cut a ribbon to cordially open the ceremony.
Next, U Hla Htwe and Mr. Sakorn Rungrang inspected show rooms and booths to commemorate show rooms and the 67th Anniversary Kayah state day. –Tun Lay
