Over 100 small statues are dis-covered from a collapsed old pagoda in Ingapu, Ayeyawady Region, by villagers on 15 June.
The villagers found the different size of Buddha statues together with other ancient items when they cleared the bricks from the collapsed pagoda.
Among them, 50 statues are about four inches high while 33 are from one inch to nine inches high.
Small religious items and precious stones were also found at the site.
The items will be enshrined in the same pagoda when it is reconstructed, according to local police force which investigated the case.
