THE basic education schools and monastic schools for the 2025-2026 Academic Year reopened in regions and states across the nation and also in the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area yesterday, and the students peacefully attended the school.

 

A total of 5,822,954 stu­dents attended the schools, including basic education schools, monastic schools and private schools across the nation yesterday.

 

The government pro­vides free textbooks, note­books and stationery to all primary to high school students, and free school uniforms to KG and prima­ry students in the 2025-2026 academic year.

 

Moreover, classrooms have been arranged, trans­port facilitated, and efforts have been made to improve the overall cleanliness and aesthetics of the schools.

 

The chief ministers of regions and states, includ­ing the Nay Pyi Taw Coun­cil, inspected the reopening of schools. Late enrolment remains open for students who were unable to regis­ter earlier for various rea­sons. — MNA/KTZH
