Over 900 households in Falankyin village enjoy electricity

The Falankyin sub-power station (33/11KV, 5MVA) at the side of Meiktial-Kyaukpadaung road in Meiktila Township distributed electricity to 993 households from 22 villages starting from 3 January, according to the District Electricity Office.

 

The sub-power station (33/11KV, 5MVA) was constructed by Aung Thaung Company in 2017-2018 FY. Construction of 33 KV for 7.6 miles, 11 KV for 23.74 miles and 11/0.4KV and 22 (200) KVA transformers were also established in 22 villages.

 

With its emergence, electricity supply to 33/11KV and 5MVA transformers was undertaken on 7 October 2018 and the electricity distribution to 11 KV power lines was conducted on 11 November.

 

Afterwards, installation of power lines and meter boxes were carried out in 22 villages which enjoyed electricity on 3 January. The project is now benefiting 993 households from these villages, said U Yu Maw, the engineer from the District Electricity Office.
