Nattalin 16 January
Some 200 people headed by U Aung Thu, U Than Tun and U Thant Zin Htet gathered in Nattalin Township, Thayawdy District, Bago Region this morning for the upgrading of the Nattalin-Damange-Taungnyo-Myothit road.
The gathering started marching peacefully along Yangon-Pyay road, Nattalin-Damange-Taungnyo road and to Tapon road, Kangyo road and thence turned back to the starting point, passing the office of National League for Democracy on Yangon-Pyay road.
During the peaceful march, they shouted a slogan, advocating immediate upgrade of the road according the promise given. The rally came to an end at 11 am.—Township IPRD
