The Rural Development Department in Demoso Township, Kayah State has been providing the needs of the village such as road and bridge construction, water supply system, health care system, and others. A total of 248 developmental works were undertaken with K 253 million from 2015-2016 FY to 2017-2018 FY.
In this 2018-2019 FY, a total of 125 developmental works in 116 villages are being undertaken with over K 135 million. Now, a ceremony to hand over a hall and a pre-school building in Okae village was held this morning.
On the occasion, Kayah State Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Boss Ko gave remarks and an official from State Rural Development Department clarified the projects undertaken by the department. Next, the officials formally opened the hall and the preschool of the village. The construction of the village hall, preschool, toilet and fence were undertaken with over K 40 million allocated by community-centered development project and over 4 million contributed by public.
