A public awareness on prevention of human trafficking and child abuse was conducted at No. 2 Myoma Basic Education High School (Branch) in Kamaing, Hpakant Township, Kachin State yesterday.

At the talks, self-inspector Kyaw Naing Oo from Kamaing Police Station shared knowledge to prevent human trafficking and child abuse. Daw Swe Mar Oo, chairperson of the Maternal and Child Welfare Association discussed about Myanmar traditional dresses and urged teachers and parents to cooperate in preventing child abuse.

The Maternal and Child Welfare Association disseminated pamphlets on prevention of child abuse to students and attendees.
