Construction of a public lounge at the jetty linking Kawthoung in Myanmar with Yanaung in Thailand will be completed soon.
With the aims of ensuring public safety and convenience, the public lounge is being constructed at an estimated cost of K 23.6 million allocated out of the Township Development Committee. The facility is 42 feet long, 18 feet wide and 12 feet high.
Visitors far and near can take a rest at the newly-built facility while waiting for vessels.
