THE powerful earthquake left 3,514 people dead, 4,809 people injured and 210 people missing in six regions and states up to 6 April.
Members of the Fire Services Department and internal and external rescue teams are conducting search and rescue operations on time in relevant areas. So far, they have rescued 653 people alive and searched 686 dead bodies till today.
Well-wishers donate cash and materials to the affected people. On 6 April, two planes from two countries carrying 38.128 tonnes of relief supplies landed at Yangon International Airport.
Arrangements are being made to distribute the relief supplies donated by well-wishers to affected people as quickly as possible. — MNA/TTA
