A groundbreaking ceremony for construction of a regional law office was held in Hopong Township, PaO Self-Administered Zone in Southern Shan State this morning.

Shan State Advocate-General U Tin Oo, Chairman of the Leading Body of the PaO Self-Administered Zone U Khun San Lwin and members, Shan State Law Officer U Nan Tin, and departmental officials drove the stakes at designated places in the construction site during the ceremony. The 100 ft. long and 50 ft. wide one-storey facility will be of reinforced concrete type.

It will be built by Shan Homeland Construction Company at a cost of Ks. 133.79 million from the local government’s funds.—Htet Htet
