As part of efforts to control the spread of COVID-19, Brigadier General Nyunt Win Swe, commander of southwestern command and Col. Tin Zaw Tun, Ayeyarwady Region Police Chief and members donated medical equipment such as thermometers, hand gel, gloves and masks to Myaungmya People’s Hospital yesterday.
The medical equipment was accepted by the township medical superintended Dr. Hnit San Oo and the District deputy medical superintended Dr. Soe Thet.
Afterwards, Brigadier General Nyunt Win Swe, Col. Tin Zaw Tun and members also provided foodstuffs such as rice, cooking oil, salt, bean and masks to 56 retired police officers at the hall of Mya Shwe War in the town of Myanungmya, Ayeyarwady Region.—Thein Zanat (Myaungmya)
