Ngazun, 28 January
A ceremony to inaugurate a rural road took place in Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region on 27 January.
At the ceremony, Mandalay Regional Chief Minister Dr. Zaw Myint Maung, Regional Minister for Security and Border Affairs Col Kyaw Kyaw Min, Regional Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr. Soe Than and Regional Lawmaker U Kyaw Soe Naing cut a ceremonial ribbon to open the new rural road.
Speaker of Mandalay Regional Parliament U Aung Kyaw Oo, regional MPs, departmental staff, Assistant Commissioner U Zaw Moe Htike, Township Administrator U Zaw Win, local authorities and residents attended the ceremony. The Rural road is 27500 ft. in length, 14 ft. in width and one foot in height.
It was built by Royal Steel Palace Company Limited at a cost of Ks. 258.20 million allocated by The Irrigation and Water Utilization Management Department under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation.—Thet Naung Oo (Ngazun)
