STATE Administration Council Member and Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae inspected the relocation of quake-stricken staff and families to the newly constructed tempo­rary shelters yesterday.

 

After the ceremonial pro­cedures, the Union minister in­spected the accommodation and instructed the staff to follow the regulations, stay in unity, utilize the water, electricity and sanita­tion system systematically and other cleanliness activities.

 

He also checked the com­pound of temporary shelters, electrification, waste systems and pathways.

 

The Union minister and his wife, accompanied by the deputy minister, attended the handover ceremony of Buddha images and cooking oil for the quake-impact­ed staff by the Myanmar Edible Oil Dealers Association held at Ayeyawady Hall of the ministry. — MNA/KTZH
