SANGHA hospitals, which provide eye surgery, have discussed with the Fred Hollow Foundation, aiming to give eye patients more support, said Pyinmana Sangha Hospital's medical superintendent Dr Than Min Htut.

Along with the team comprising Sayadaws, medical superintendents, and surgeons, he has arrived in Bangkok, Thailand, to join a meeting with officials from the Fred Hollow Foundation for a future eye surgery plan, which is being planned to implement at Pyinmana Sangha Hospital, he said on his Facebook page.

The meeting highlighted the restart of the Sangha Hospital's eye surgery as soon as possible. He said the team will arrive back in Myanmar on 26 April. — MT/ZS
