No immediate reports of damages or casualties were available following a slight earthquake which was recorded at 20:04 p.m. on January 21, the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology announced.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 32.70 on the Richter Scale, with its epicenter inside Myanmar hit about two miles northwest of Ottarathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council, at a latitude 19.85°N, and longitude 96.14°E, with depth 10 kilometers and about five miles north of the Nay Pyi Taw seismological observatory, the DMH said.
