Under the arrangement of National Electrification Program NEP, solar panels are being installed by Earth Renewable Energy Company in villages in Palaw Township, Taninthayi Region.
In 2018-2019 FY, 124 pairs of solar panels for five villages, 66 pairs for two villages, 72 pairs for Meekyauntheik village, 43 pairs for Leikthaung village, 26 pairs for Zayatseik village-tract and Kyaukkanpae village, totaling 331 pairs will be installed by the middle of September, according to the office of Palaw Township Department of Rural Development.
Two kinds of solar panel, eg 60 W and 100 W, are being installed and if there is any failure in using solar panels, lcoal people need to contact with responsilbe company and Township Department of Rual Development in time.
