TO facilitate the travel of de­partmental employees, families, tourists, and the public, the Maw­lamyine Railway Station has an­nounced that Yangon-Mawlamy­ine special trains will be operated on 11, 12, 20 and 21 April.

 

On 11 and 20 April, the AAR down-train will leave Mawlamy­ine at 9:10 am with eight ordinary and four upper coaches and the air-bag up-train will leave Yangon at 9:15 am with 10 ordinary and four upper coaches.

 

On 12 and 21 April, the air-bag down-train will leave Maw­lamyine at 9:10 am with 10 or­dinary and four upper coaches and the AAR up-train will leave Yangon at 9:15 am with eight or­dinary and four upper coaches.

 

The No 82 AAR down-train, which runs daily from Mawlamy­ine, will operate as usual. Down-train tickets will be sold at the Mawlamyine Station from 7 to 3 pm daily, with the upper class for three days in advance and the ordinary class for one day in advance.

 

The special down-train will stop at Mottama, Paung, Zink­yaik, Yinnyein, Thaton, Theinseik, Hninpale, Taungzun, Mayangon, Kyaikto, Kyaikkatha, Moppalin, Theinzayet, Waw, Bago, and To­egyaungkalay stations, it said. — MT/ZN
