Mawlamyine Kyun, 29 May

Four houses were destroyed by strong winds in Mawlamyine Kyun Township, Labutta District, Ayeyarwady Region. The damage occurred on 27 May in Kyun Chaung Village Tract, and on 28 May in Kazaung Village Tract, Mying Ka Kone, Kalay Daung, and Ye Kyaw Village Tract.

The affected homes belong to: U Than Htwe in Danonseik Village, Daw Khin Swe in Kyunpo Village, U Aung Kyaw Oo in Kazaung Village, U Tin Sein in Daungyekyaw Village. The total estimated cost of the damage is approximately Ks. 1,600,000. Officials from the Township Administration Body and Village Tract Administration Office are assisting the affected families by providing temporary shelters and other necessary support. Thankfully, no casualties have been reported.
