A ceremony to furnish surgical instruments to Shwebo People’s Hospital was held at the hall of the hospital yesterday.
Two patient monitors worth K 8.2 million were donated by U Kyaw Lin and Daw Thida Oo from Yangon. The deputy commissioner U Ko Ko Aung from Shwebo District General Administration Department expressed thanks.
Afterwards, the surgical instruments were handed over to Dr. Maung Maung Soe, medical superintendent of the hospital, who presented a certificate of honor to the donor.
There are over 200 patients undergoing surgical operation per month in the hospital. The installation of the patient monitors will contribute a lot to emergency treatment.
