Taungoo crowned in Bago Region CM’s cup men’s volleyball competition

The final match of Bago Region Chief Minister’s Cup Men’s Volleyball Tournament was held in conjunction with a prize awarding event at the stadium in the town of Bago, Bago Region at about 4:00 pm on 17 May.

 

At the event, Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win delivered an opening speech and clarified the purposes of the tournament. 

 

In the final game, the volleyball team representing Taungoo District beat the squad representing Tharawaddy District to win the champion trophy. This was followed by the presentation of individual awards and champion trophy to the players and prize winning teams.  

 

The contest runs from May 16 to 17 with four participating teams from four districts in the Region. Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win, the region ministers and local people attended the event.—District IPRD
