India now has more than 500,000 confirmed coronavirus cases, according to government figures released Saturday that showed a record daily leap of 18,500 new infections.
Iranian media outlets say a massive explosion has taken place in an area near the capital Tehran. The area hosts a military facility, but the state television said the blast hit an industrial gas tank.
