Myanmar’s exports of natural gas over the past eight months of the current financial year amounted to US$2.4 billion, the Commerce Ministry’s data showed.

The Indian millers have requested their government to extend the deadline for black bean import up to March 2021. This being so, there is the possibility of a deadline extension, said traders from pulses and beans market. 

Myanmar’s maritime trade constituted 85.74 per cent of rice exports and generated an estimated income of US$560.8 million as of 3 July in the current fiscal year, as per data from Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF).
