The global gold has crossed over US$1,000 per ounce since 2019 and registered a decade high of over $1,770 per ounce, said Chairman U Myo Myint of Yangon Gold Entrepreneurs Association (YGEA).
Myanmar’s trade gap has significantly widened in eight and half months of the current financial year 2019-2020 to more than US$1.7 billion from $853 million registered in the corresponding period of the 2018-2019FY, according to the data provided by the Ministry of Commerce.
