Rihkhawdar 8 February
A tuberculosis diagnosis team from the Department of Anti-tuberculosis in Hakha, Chin State made a field trip to identify tuberculosis at a station hospital in Rihkhawdar.
The team led by Dr. Min Thein Hteik made a check-up on 100 TB suspects to with digital X-ray. A total of eight TB suspected patients were provided medical treatment and Gene Xpert were delivered to Hakha. Furthermore, free medical treatment was provided to patients with other complaints.
Officials from the station hospital and staff from the Health Department helped the TB diagnosis team. They disseminated pamphlets on tuberculosis to the attendees.
