Singu, 22 January
A teachers’ workshop was held at golden jubilee hall in Basic Education High School in the town of Singu, Singu township, Mandalay region this morning.
The workshop concentrated on school development contributory programs. At the event, township education officer Daw Thanda Aung gave an opening speech. Then, deputy township education officer U Kyaw Naing reported on the suggestions of Audit General’s office about the use of funds for school development, while deputy township education officer U Moe Moe clarified about reforms carried out by Ministry of Education.
Headmasters and teachers from Basic Education Schools in Singu township attended the workshop that will run from January 22 to 24.—Min Zaw Oo (IPRD)
