A ceremony to honour those who contributed to the 48th anniversary Kayin New Year and the new harvest festival of the Kayin ethnic people took place in Taungsu village, Ywarthit village-tract, Einme Township, Ayeyarwady Region was held at Koenawin monastery, Weegyiwa village yesterday.
At the event, MPs Daw Yee Yee Tun and Mann Kyaw San , Einme Township Administrator U Hla Min Thu and Chairman of Einme Township Kayin Literary and Culture Committee Mann Nyeik Pain delivered introductory speechs and Ywarthit village Administrator Mann Kyi Win spoke words of thanks .
The MPs, the Township Administrator and departmental officials presented certificates of honor individuals who were engaged in the holding of New Year and the new harvest festival of the Kayin ethnic people. –Township (IPRD)
