Thazi 16 January
Two men were caught with one percussion lock firearm in Thazi Township, Mandalay Region on 14 January.
Upon receiving an anonymous tipoff, a police squad from a police outpost found two men holding a percussion lock firearm near a farm belonging to a man named U Maung Win from Pinmone Village in Thazi Township. Two men were identified as Moedi (alias) Kyaw Zin Latt, 38 years old from Pinmone Village, and Min Aung, 39 years of age from Khwayyoke Village in Thazi Township.
The two men are currently being detained for possession of a homemade gun by the local police station.—Bo Bo (Mahlaing)
